SMP FOR DENSITY
SMP is a great hair loss solution for adding ‘fullness’ to areas of thinning hair. Both men and women can benefit from this. If you have areas of bald patches across your scalp, then scalp micropigmentation can essentially ‘fill’ these in for you, resulting in your hair looking thicker and fuller.

Yes definitely. Scalp Micropigmentation looks natural with the appearance of a shaved head, as well treatments through density work. The specialised pigments used are designed to replicate the look of your natural hair follicles. The pigment will be matched with your existing hair and skin tone, whilst also taking into consideration your desired look.
Scalp Micropigmentation is a form of permanent makeup, it is not an actual tattoo. Results will typically last 3 to 5 years with some touch ups/colour boosts recommended in between. Depending on each client’s lifestyle and immune system, the pigment can last longer than the advised period.
The amount of sessions needed will depend on the clients desired outcome and the size of the area being treated (severity of hair loss). Typically, a bald scalp will need 3-4 sessions to achieve a full shaven look. Density work may only require 2-3 sessions. This is all discussed individually within every client consultation.
Scalp Micropigmentation procedures are performed over separate treatment sessions. There will be a 14-day healing time in between each session.
Scalp micropigmentation sessions will take around 3 hours. This may be slightly longer for clients needing hairline mapping.
No. Scalp Micropigmentation (SMP) is referred to as a hair tattoo, however, it is completely different to the traditional ’body’ tattoos. A range of different needles, equipment and pigments are used to carry out scalp SMP procedures.
Scalp micropigmentation is a layering process. The first treatment is done slightly lighter to see how the pigment settles in the scalp. Within each session, we will assess if the colour has held and matches or if we need to go darker.
