PERMANENT LIP PROCEDURE

PERMANENT LIPS SHEFFIELD

A lip procedure is ideal for those that regularly wear lip liner or lipstick, or want to add fullness, colour and definition to their lips.

This professional lip procedure involves inserting and implanting colour pigments into your lips, using small tattoo needles, creating a beautiful flush of colour.

Using permanent makeup, it is sometimes possible to give the look of balance to unsymmetrical lips, as well as add definition to thinning lips.

A full consultation and patch test is needed beforehand and treatment session will never be started until you are completely happy with your pre draw and pigment colour choice.

LIP blush

The lip line only technique is perfect for those with a nice full lip, that is just requiring a more definitive shape or to correct slightly asymmetric lip line problems.

LIP neutralisation

Lip Neutralisation is a process of correcting the colour pigmentation for clients with cool or dark toned lip colour. The darker, uneven tones are neutralised in the lips to achieve a more even and natural colouring. This process focuses on subtle enhancement of achieving a natural pink or peach colour tone of the lips.

Clients may require multiple sessions to achieve their desired lip colour.

Semi- permanent makeup can last anywhere between two to five years before they start to fade. As this is a semi-permanent treatment, it is never guaranteed that your new brows, lip blush or eyeliner will ever fully disappear, but they will fade over the years. This will be different for each client. Although, it really depends on your skin, lifestyle, and maintenance. I recommend having a 12–18-month colour boost to keep your semi-permanent makeup always looking fresh in colour and perfectly maintained.

From the start of the procedure numbing cream will be applied and a secondary numb is applied throughout. The treatment can be slightly uncomfortable at times, but bearable. There may be swelling in areas, but this will subside over 24 hours. Redheads, blondes and oily/fair skin types may experience more swelling and redness than darker skin types.

You must be 18 years of age or over.  You must not be on medication for acne (Accutane). If you have previously taken Accutane you must have stopped taking this medication for 12 months prior to a semi-permanent makeup session. Under no circumstances should you have this treatment if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, have type 1 or 2 diabetes/chemotherapy/radiation/cancer. If you have any allergies/disorders/disabilities, please let me know upon enquiry.

Yes absolutely! However, you might experience more swelling during and after the procedure. Do not have any lip fillers 4 weeks prior and 4 weeks post lip blush. Semi-permanent pigment will move with your lip filler, so there’s never any need to worry about your shape/colour changing over the years.

On average both eyebrows and lip blush procedure will take 2-3 hours for the first session, and 1.5 hours for the retouch session.  A colour boost session will take around 1.5 hours.

Eyeliner takes around 1-2 hours depending on style.

Yes, it’s completely safe. The highest standards of hygiene are met. The use of high-quality digital technology system excludes any risks of contra-infection. The pigments are non-allergenic, dermatologically safe and meet strict European medical standards. All needles are sealed before use and always shown to the client before start of any semi-permanent makeup procedure.

You can start wearing makeup again once all your scabbing has fully removed from the treated area. It is best to stay away from applying the make-up, until the skin has healed on the surface. This is around 10-14 days after the session.
