PERMANENT EYEBROW PROCEDURE

PMU BROWS SHEFFIELD

It’s said that a perfectly shaped brow can frame and enhance someone’s face shape, and in some cases their overall appearance.

A permanent eyebrow procedure is ideal for anyone that has sparse, little or no brow hair, or wants the ultimate defined brow to enhance and achieve their perfect brow shape.

Apart from achieving the perfect brow shape, there are different types of brow procedures to best suit each client’s preferred style.

NATURAL HAIR STROKES

These are perfect for anyone wanting a natural undetectable “perfectly maintained natural brow” look. Fine hairstrokes can be achieved using a single needle with the machine, to create the appearance of natural hair following the natural growth of any existing hair or if no hair then to create an illusion of natural hair by creating a brow following the natural directional brow hairline. This can be done using one single colour or multiple colours for those with multi-tonal hair.

OMBRE BROWS

This ombre brow is perfect for those with hair or no hair at all and fabulous for any skin type. The Ombre brow consists of heavier shading from the tail up to the arch and then gradually fading towards the bulb of the brow to create a soft graduated powder affect.

COMBINATION BROWS

A combination brow consists of ombre and hair strokes. The beginning of the brow appears to be lighter with natural hairs graduating into a denser brow. Hair strokes with a combination of lighter shading behind to achieve a more natural powdered effect for those who don’t have a lot of hair to start with. A combination brow is also great for anyone wanting more definition and fulness to the brow from the tail and body of the brow and finishing with natural hair strokes to the front of the brow.

Semi- permanent makeup can last anywhere between two to five years before they start to fade. As this is a semi-permanent treatment, it is never guaranteed that your new brows, lip blush or eyeliner will ever fully disappear, but they will fade over the years. This will be different for each client. Although, it really depends on your skin, lifestyle, and maintenance. I recommend having a 12–18-month colour boost to keep your semi-permanent makeup always looking fresh in colour and perfectly maintained.

From the start of the procedure numbing cream will be applied and a secondary numb is applied throughout. The treatment can be slightly uncomfortable at times, but bearable. There may be swelling in areas, but this will subside over 24 hours. Redheads, blondes and oily/fair skin types may experience more swelling and redness than darker skin types.

You must be 18 years of age or over.  You must not be on medication for acne (Accutane). If you have previously taken Accutane you must have stopped taking this medication for 12 months prior to a semi-permanent makeup session. Under no circumstances should you have this treatment if you are pregnant/breastfeeding, have type 1 or 2 diabetes/chemotherapy/radiation/cancer. If you have any allergies/disorders/disabilities, please let me know upon enquiry.

Yes absolutely! However, you might experience more swelling during and after the procedure. Do not have any lip fillers 4 weeks prior and 4 weeks post lip blush. Semi-permanent pigment will move with your lip filler, so there’s never any need to worry about your shape/colour changing over the years.

On average both eyebrows and lip blush procedure will take 2-3 hours for the first session, and 1.5 hours for the retouch session.  A colour boost session will take around 1.5 hours.

Eyeliner takes around 1-2 hours depending on style.

Yes, it’s completely safe. The highest standards of hygiene are met. The use of high-quality digital technology system excludes any risks of contra-infection. The pigments are non-allergenic, dermatologically safe and meet strict European medical standards. All needles are sealed before use and always shown to the client before start of any semi-permanent makeup procedure.

You can start wearing makeup again once all your scabbing has fully removed from the treated area. It is best to stay away from applying the make-up, until the skin has healed on the surface. This is around 10-14 days after the session.
